Breastmilk jewelry is a piece created from a mother’s breastmilk. It is jewelry that commemorates a mother and babys journey through nursing, pumping, supplementing. It is a very special keepsake that reminds the mother of the joys and trials of providing milk for her child. 

Your milk is sterilized, preserved, and mixed into a resin to form your breastmilk keepsake stone.

As soon as your order is received, I place an order for your jewelry setting from my jeweler. Changes cannot be made after your order is received.

I take the responsibility of handling your milk/inclusions very seriously. I make it a priority to label everything with your name and order number listed, so when I work with your inclusions I know with 100% certainty that it belongs to you. 

As a nursing mother myself, I know the value of these pieces and I take extra care as if it were my own.

1) Look through the website to find your setting of choice, add to your cart and complete the purchase. Don’t forget to add any extra inclusions you’d like!

2) When your order is complete, you will receive an email with detailed instructions on how and where to send your milk/inclusions. Make sure you are checking your spam/junk email, as sometimes it goes there.

3) Mail your milk & inclusions according to the directions in the email to the address provided.

4) Once your package is received, I will preserve your inclusions and wait on your jewelry setting to arrive. Once that has arrived to me, I will make and set your stone(s)! Then it'll be on it's way home to you so you can enjoy it for years to come!

1) Please place 1/2 ounce (15mL) of breastmilk into a breastmilk appropriate storage bag. Please double bag, just in case of any leakage during shipping. 

2) Label each bag with the following:
- Your Name
- Order Number
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- Item(s) Purchased
- Your Address

3) Take to your local post office or shipping center and mail to the address listed above. Please be sure to get a tracking number from the postal worker so you can keep a track on your package until I receive it.

Yes, even if the milk arrives spoiled, it can still be used for your jewelry. My preservation process will preserve milk if it is fresh or spoiled. 

Your breastmilk stone is a solid piece. It will be durable and will last for years to come under normal wear. Each piece will be unique in color depending on your milk color. I use a UV resin that helps your piece stay as accurate as possible, with minimal to no yellowing. As with any resin stone, small bubbles may appear but I strive to make sure this is minimal. 

This is a unique and irreplaceable piece of jewelry. All breastmilk and keepsake inclusions are primary resin based. Resin is a beautiful medium, that requires care instructions to be strictly followed.

We recommend that breastmilk and keepsake jewelry be removed before bed, bathing, showering, washing hands, and physical activities.

Exposing your piece to harsh and prolonged periods or sunlight, perfume, hairspray, essential oils, cleaing produts, chlorine, and salt water will dramataically affect the integrity of your piece.

Cleaning Your Jewelry

A silver/gold based polishing cloth may be used on the metal parts of your piece only. It is vital that you don't clean the stone with these cloths. The stone can be cleaned with a soft plain cloth.

Storing your Jewelry

All jewelry should be stored away from natural light, heat sources, and in a lined jewelry box or pouch. Do not store in the bathroom or areas of high moisture.

Yes. For international orders, shipping will be calculated at checkout. 

Yes, any leftover preserved milk will be saved for you indefinitely. Please note in your order if you are wanting to use leftover preserved milk and your previous order number. 

Turnaround time is subject to change based on the amount of orders, but my current turnaround time is 4-6 weeks once your milk is received.

I do not offer any refunds or exchanges under any circumstances once the order is placed.
I do not accept returns due to the nature of your jewelry being handmade with your personal inclusions. Each piece is completely unique to the mother and no two will ever be alike. 

If something happens to your stone, I can remake it for a small fee as long as I have leftover preserved milk. Your ring setting is not under warranty and it would need to be taken to a local jeweler for repairs.

Please note that by purchasing an item from The Love Drop, that you free The Love Drop, the designer, Sydney Wilhelm, and all estate of Sydney Wilhelm from any liability of your inclusions. It is requested that you don’t send the last of any inclusions and that you save some at home. All inclusions that you send, we are released from any liability or legal pursuit for any accidents or loss to your inclusions. Your order and sending of inclusions implies that you agree and understand this policy.
